BIO START UP INNOVA CLUB

The Department of Biomedical Engineering under the banner of IIC has organized the 6th Biostartup Innova Club meeting on 12th January 2022. Our second year students Amilthini.K V and Lakshya A P presented the topic “IOT based vital monitoring system using PIC microcontroller”.

First year and second year students of BME and Department faculty members have attended the meeting. Students have explained about the usage of ICU monitoring system along with integration of IOT which enables the opportunity to develop a new patient checking framework in order to improve clinical administration. This also helps with large cloud computing storage maintenance of patient reports. They have also explained about the PIC microcontroller usage along with buzzer and sensor technology that has high performance and lower power consumption.

The Department of Biomedical Engineering, under the banner of IIC has organized the 7th Biostartup Innova Club meeting on 2nd February 2022 through Google Meet platform. Our students of II-BME Pamitha B and Ankitha T has presented the topic “Automatic COVID Test Booth”. First and second year students of BME and department faculties have attended the meeting.

Students have given introduction about the COVID-19 Pandemic and introduction to IOT. They explained about the IOT based automated COVID test booth, which is the system where the 70 percent of the manual entry work is automated and allow for a single point and fast COVID testing. Further there explained about the components and they moved on to explaining the impact and application of IOT in the COVID19 pandemic.

On the Occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, The Department of Biomedical Engineering of Easwari Engineering College organized 5th “Bio Startup Innova Club” meeting on 3rd December 2021. Our Second year students Gnanika A and Krishka S presented the topic “AI based Smart White Cane”.

First and Second year students of BME and Department faculty members have attended the meeting. Students have explained about their idea on white cane for blind people for detecting water level and obstacles using ultrasonic sensor. They have explained how the data has been sent to the android system using transducer and its process of assisting the blind. The session was interesting and informative.

The Department of Biomedical Engineering of Easwari Engineering college organized 4th “Bio Startup Innova Club” on 10th November 2021. Our Second year students Keerthana D and Dharun K presented the topic “Nanobots for Cancer Immunotherapy”.  Second year students of BME and BME department faculty members have attended the meeting.

Students have explained about cancer. They gave detailed explanation of application of nanotechnology in cancer. They have described how nanobots can be used for cancer immunotherapy and also the pros & cons of nanobots. The session was interesting and informative.

Department of Biomedical Engineering of Easwari Engineering college organized 3rd “Bio Startup Innova Club” on 6th October 2021. Our Second year students Varsha S U and Varsha Srinivasan presented the topic “Detection of Neuro-psycomotor conditions using DDX”. 

Second year students of BME and BME department faculty members have attended the meeting. Students have explained about parkinson’s disease and the detection of response time, psychophysical conditions in normal and abnormal environment using the device DDX, biorobotic system. The session was interesting and informative.

Department of Biomedical Engineering of Easwari Engineering college organized 2nd “Bio Startup Innova Club” on 22nd September 2021.Our Second year students Sharon Flora P and Jenepher Sanjeetha Sekarpresented the topic “PCLC Technology in modern Anesthetic Machine“.

On the Occasion of Engineer’s Day, the Department of Biomedical Engineering Commences the “Bio Startup Innova Club” on 15.09.2021 through Google Meet platform from 3.30 pm to 4 pm. The first presentation of this club was given by Preethi D & Swetha M of II-BME on the topic “3D Printing Proesthetic Hand”.
